After taking a little break over the holidays it’s back into full swing over on the blog and at my craft table. A little bit of exciting news too is that I finally got my Youtube channel up and running and now you can see my creative process in short little videos, I will be sharing these on my channel as well as all the amazing companies I love and design for this year. So watch this space – please like and support my little venture if you so desire. It will mean the world to me 🙂
Layers of ink are my favourite way of using them. All Purpose ink especially is so versatile and layering them together can be amazing, but as soon as you layer them with other products they simply shine

How gorgeous is the new stamp set from Little Birdie? I simply had to colour the images as soon as I got hold of it. It calls for creating a stained-glass window card, but in the meantime, a good colouring session with some of my favourite watercolour markers did the trick.
Happy mother’s day to all the moms out there! Thank you for all you are and do for us.
I created these quick cards using Kaisercraft Paper and Collectibles and a few stamps.
For this card I used my GoPress and Foil machine with an Anna Griffin Embossing folder to create the gorgeous background. A collectible flower and a stamped image with diamante finishes off this quick card.
For more card ideas head on over to the Kaisercraft blog for inspiration.
This card uses only a few elements from the Collectibles pack and a stamp. I added some paint splatters and diamante and in 5 minutes I created a beautiful card.
I love making these quick and easy cards – not only am I using up some stash, I can make someone’s day special with a beautiful card and message.
Until tomorrow – have a creative day! Jowilna
“How gorgeous is this Two Souls range. Instead of making wedding cards I enjoy making tags these days that can be attached t gifts and flowers. They are quick to make and can be just as detailed as a card.” JN
You can download the full instructions from The Kaisercraft blog on how I created these tags.

I love dabbling in mixed media elements on my layouts. You may think of going overboard but for me, the wisdom lies in knowing when to stop, when you can take something away instead of adding that one thing,
then you know you have created something special that focuses on the photo and the story
This range is perfect for those special memories where you may only have a single photo that you can use enlarged to tell your story.
You can head over to the Kaisercraft blog here to see the full step x step for this layout.

It’s weekend and we have some awesome inspiration for you for the festive season.
There’s nothing better than receiving a beautiful gift. But wrap it in some special paper and you have a winner.
Today we show you how easy it is to make your own gift wrapping paper using POP Paint.
The best part is that each person receiving a gift from you wrapped in your own paper, is that you essentially give a part of yourself too.
the time you lovingly spent creating each unique piece of paper, and then wrapping a thoughtful gift in it – it truly is special.
As the base for my wrapping paper I used plain brown kraft paper – available in huge rolls and the perfect neutral backdrop.
step 1 – select the colour of PoP Paint you want to use. Signal and Sprout is perfect for the festive season.
step 2 – Use a soft medium sized flat paintbrush and paint random streaks onto the paper alternating the colours.
Leave the paint t dry, while working on other sheets. This way you can mass produce a few sheets at a time.
step 3 – Once the paint is dry, use a black marker to draw onto the background – a great way to get the kids involved. They can make their own personal wrapping paper for family and friends with a little help from an adult. Or use your stamps and stamp with black ink onto the background randomly overlapping the paint streaks like I did.
Now you are ready to wrap all those special gifts for your loved ones. Add a simple bit of twine or ribbon and a few extra bits of decorations and you will have some special gifts to place under the tree this year.
The fun doesn’t stop there – you can make your own special gift tags to match your paper using the same paint colours.
So what are you waiting for – get creative and make your own recyclable paper this year.
With Christmas just around the corner, you still have enough time to create your own beautiful papers. So get cracking.
Ask your local craft store for your favourite POP Paint colours.
