A quick how to resist canvas panel

Today on the blog I am sharing a quick canvas project I made using this vintage Bicycle stamp from the Gentleman’s Emporium Collection and some flower elements from the Le Petit Jardin range.

Step 1 – Punch a 3″ circle out of patterned paper from the Gentleman’s Emporium paper pad.

Step 2 – Stamp the Bicycle in black VersaFine Clair ink onto the circle.

Step 3 – Ink the edges of the circle in brown ink, then sprinkle the entire circle with clear embossing powder and heat set. Ink brown over the entire circle again and then use a soft cloth to buff the embossed surface. The inking will reveal all of the embossed areas.

Step 4 – Select some Le Petit Jardin elements from your pack as well as some foiled elements.

Step 5 – Adhere the embossed circle, foiled elements and flowers to the canvas.
I prepped my canvas background by adhering a serviette to it.

I like foiling and creating elements with my Go Press and Foil machine and keeping them for future projects so they are ready on the go and I can use them at any time.
