I created this card using one of my recent backgrounds using a stencil and some alcohol inks for effect.
I think it made the perfect backdrop for this stunning NEW stamp set. bright and beautiful!

I used some messy watercolour painting to add colour to the coffee cup – I wish we got pretty paper cups for coffee like this one – how fun would that be.

Create Your Own Paper Flowers with Kaisercraft DIY Cuts

I created this quick tag using the beautiful Greenhouse range from Kaisercraft, but it simply wouldn’t be complete without some greenery on it. Using my DIYcuts machine and die from Kaisercraft was so easy in creating a dimensional succulent for my tag – take a look at how you can create it in a few easy steps.Flowers_main

Die cut the elements out of green cardstock using the small succulent die and DIYcuts machine.

Use your bonefolder and burnishing tool to shape the petals.

Adhere the petals together using Tombow glue. A few small dots are all you need to keep them together. Add a pearl in the middle to finish it off.

Create a tag background using off-cut scrap papers. Adhere some succulent stickers from the sticker book to the tag, and then add your dimensional succulent overlapping the stickers.

And what’s a morning without coffee and God? Pretty dull right? I tapped into my rich brown ink colours to show the richness of Life in Christ.

I combined my Coffee Lovers and Rise and Shine stamp sets for the outside and inside of my card.

I used my paper crimper to add some detail to my inked card – the texture makes the card look like a real coffee cup which I love.
The lid was simply inked and a layer of dimensional glaze added and left to dry. I then cracked it lightly so it really looked like plastic. Such fun creating all those little details.

I love how easy it is to make these cards with the cut file. Everything fits perfectly and once cut with my Silhouette machine it took mere minutes to assemble the card.
And inside a little coffee voucher card for a special friend.
detail3And as always I made this card my own, just using the cut file as a guideline for having fun – and what will a card be without some stamping?
