I love multi-coloured papers, and especially those with a washed watercolour look. And nothing is as easy as creating your very own custom paper and creating embellishments with it. Here’s how I make mine in a few easy steps.

TIP: taping the paper to a surface like a white board or A4 cutting matt helps keep the paper flat and allows the fibres to stretch back into their natural state and corrects the paper to a flat sheet once dry.

Once the paper is dry carefully remove the washi tape from the paper and then use a die-cut to cut flowers using your Go Cut and Emboss machine.
Keep some flowers single and layer others for added dimension. Add a sewn button or brad to the centre as a finishing touch.
