Ink Inspired – how to use ink everyday

My favourite journey is inking, using inks in different ways and creating magic – that place where ink is unpredictable and magical.
Using what I have, where I am, just enjoying the journey.
Creating!
Uncomplicated, raw, real and fun.
I used my roller towel to mop up various inks, left the roller towel to dry.
Adhere the roller towel onto smooth white cardstock using a glue stick. Smooth it out and leave it to dry for a while.
Then cut it to size and adhere it to a card front and decorate.
Such a simple way to recycle and use everyday elements together with your inks and create magic. So for today enjoy your inking journey and just have fun.

Creating fun backgrounds using handmade stamps and Brilliance ink

I love using my Brilliance Dew Drop ink pads to create amazing effects, and this one is one of my favorites. I used a simple foam stamp created myself to stamp this background and I simply love the outcome.
I used a gorgeous Rosie’s studio vellum butterfly and chipboard to decorate this card and added a few simple embellishments as a finishing touch.
Se how the colours have an amazing translucent effect that makes overlapping them perfect for added interest.
You can take a look at my process video here https://youtu.be/PKHa3WEUGCA

This card was created for The Wholesaler South Africa and promotes the amazing Tsukineko Brilliance ink pads in conjunction with Rosie’s Studio products.

Brilliance Dew Drop Stenciled Cards

Brilliance Dew drop ink pads are the most amazing little inks. I created some gorgeous stenciled backgrounds using Celebr8 stencils and these inks for some quick and easy birthday cards.
On top of the stencilled backgrounds I added this gorgeous die-cut element using the Couture Creations Peaceful Peonies Mini Dies – Floral Circle. I layered the die-cut on top of a punched vellum circle and a stamped sentiment using my Kaisercraft stamps and Versafine Clair ink.
I also have a video on my YouTube channel with a step x step process.
